I used whole wheat flour and buckwheat flour. The pancakes were excellent!

I made the buttermilk incorrectly but they still tasted fine! I shouldn’t be eating any grains, but a lot of grain alternatives I can’t have either, so these were perfect. I didn’t really like how spongy they were, but I’m used to that from when I ate gluten free stuff. Giving it a five because they were pretty awesome. Nice job!

This looks divine!
Is there a way I can make it without eggs? Should I increase the quantity of buttermilk?

Thanks,

We always grind the flour from goats.

Just unsure if you mean 2 eggs or 3. Thanks! Looks like a great recipe!

I’m so glad I found it. We are eliminating wheat flour from our diet so I’m just starting to try new recipes. I used half oat flour and half buckwheat flour. I didn’t have buttermilk so I added a little vinegar to to whole milk just like my mom taught me.They turned out really yummy! They were a hit with my two toddlers and my husband! It’s a keeper!
