It was ok for me, I won’t make it again. I didn’t like the flavour or the texture.

I like quick oats best. old fashioned rolled oats are too gummy. steel cut oats are like razor blades on your gums. quick oats are just right. I find the texture to be ideal.

It’s not uncommon for my family to hear “oooh Cookie & Kate!” excitedly coming from the kitchen when we’re looking for an impromptu recipe to try…. Always a winner, and this oatmeal recipe is no exception. 9yr old emphatically approves.

Hello Kate, my oatmeal doesn’t seem to have worked out as well as yours. I used Flahavan’s whole grain rolled porridge oats and worked out the ingredient amounts based on 2 cups being 474g. Was that the right thing to do? The toasting seemed to take longer than expected and the milk and water didn’t seem to be enough. Thank you, Anna

I was wondering why I felt so full yet my bowl was still filled almost to the brim of oatmeal, bruh theres 4 servings in this lol im genuinely going to have to eat this all day because this is the heftiest but tastiest oatmeal ive ever made. I added a little vanilla extract, honey, and a little brown sugar because why not ‍♂️ next time I think ill add frozen fruit!

All I can say is “Thank you so much” I made this recipe and it was delicious!!! I’ve eaten oatmeal twice in my life (once as a child and once as an adult)… it was not for me!!! I thought I’d give it one more try and came across your recipe. I am hooked!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
